Complementary W3C notes for XKMS
We have the following drafts that the members agreed to publish as a W3C Note which will enhance XKMS usage, implementation and deployment.
XKMS WSDL profile. Editor: Rich. Salz. This will be a informational note and the Last Call for the same is called as per this meeting minutes and will last a week. Members are encouraged to send comments to the XKMS mailing list.
Using XKMS with PGP. Editors: Tommy Lindberg and Jose Kahan. This will be published as a W3C Note due to process issue. This note will be a proposal to use PGP keys with XKMS.
The Chairs appreciate and thank everyone for all the support in helping to make this WG a success. We would also like to specially thank Joseph Reagle and Jose Kahan our former and current W3C reps who have helped to make this a great success.
The Working Group is now closed. Email list will still be alive
Jose: Update on future Security WG activities - W3C is looking into
some proposals that may be needed to provide better interop, fix holes in
specifications,etc. Some of the ideas floated are: Security best
practices including Security considerations WG, Time stamping (DSS WG also
has work in this area; DSS is also producing a WD). If you have other
suggestions, please send them to Jose.
