Present: David F, Hugo H, Jonathan M
Regrets: Michael S-M, Mike C
Chair: David F
<hugo> Agenda: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/w3c-ws-cg/2003Jun/0008.html
<davidF> DF notes regrets from MSM
... DF notes JM will call in for just the GGF item
<hugo> On the call: David and Hugo
... Short meeting
<davidF> ACTION: Hugo to send reminder about WSCG calls
... ACTION: Arch & Chor chairs to poll their members for input to Schema on subset idea, or send a link to the CG showing that this has been done
... Arch & Chor chairs to poll their members for input to XML Core on subset idea, or send a link to the CG showing that this has been done
... ACTION: Arch & Chor chairs to poll their members for input to XML Core on subset idea, or send a link to the CG showing that this has been done
<hugo> Hugo: remembers discussions in Arch, but not conclusion; keep open
<davidF> ACTION: WSCG to track progress of SOAP12 in WSDL11 enviroment activities within XMLP and WSD WGs
<hugo> DavidF: WSD looked at the soapbuilders binding and recommended it to be used
<Marsh> WSD still needs to publish the recommendation - probably a FAQ from the WSD home page?
<hugo> ... XMLP got a similar recommendation
... ... We put together a little Q&A pointing to it
... ... The final text is about to be approved
<davidF> so, leave the action in place to remind us to get final status on next telcon
<Marsh> WSD can point to the XMLP Q&A.
<hugo> DONE: ACTION: Hugo to update calendar with f2f dates (and maybe look at RDF calendaring stuff again?)
<davidF> ACTION: Chairs to get feedback from their groups on the idea of a WS W3C/OASIS tech plenary in Dec
<hugo> XMLP is lukewarm
<davidF> WSD is enthusiastic
<hugo> WSD and Arch thought it was a good idea
<davidF> DONE: ACTION: DF to put final review of this coordination gropu on next agenda
<Marsh> not "enthusiastic" but "amenable"
<davidF> gotcha
<hugo> Chor was waiting for result of current f2f with WS-BPEL TC chairs
<davidF> Topic 4 - MSM reported that nothing new to report
... from XML CG
... similar for SW CG
<hugo> Jonathan: I have received an email from GGF, but haven't had time to read it
<davidF> HH notes that GGF participation requires IP disclosure (goodness) but GGF is not RF (not goodness)
... oth, JM notes the task force is for planning purposes and IP issue will not arise unless/until any contribution is actualy accepted
<hugo> HH: it seems that the charter for the task force is OK, and we are working on understanding how to proceed should the WSDWG decide to work on this as the result of the F2F
<davidF> DF recommends that process for dealing with GGF IP should be discussed as much as possible beforehand
<davidF> proposal was renamed per last WSCG telcon and submitted to W3M
... no report from W3M discussion
