W3C Collaboration Working Group: Notification

The purpose of this embryonic working group is to identify a clean problem and derive a charter for work on the subject of notification. The group will:

• discuss notification and asynchrony in general
• discuss putting into HTTP-NG a set of protocols

Possible subsets include:

1. event notification
2. asynchronous messaging
3. notification and subscription
