Note: This information has not been updated since the workshop, 12 September 1995.
The goal of this workshop is to establish a context for the W3C as it proceeds to recommend protocol changes that will address collaboration requirements. The focus will be on extensions to the Web protocols that support wide-area asynchronous collaborative applications, particularly extensions that can have impact by early '96. The workshop is also intended to be a starting point for continuing work on developing technology to facilitate collaboration over the World Wide Web.
Participation in the workshop is by invitation only, based on proposals which were submitted and evaluated during the summer of 1995. Information on recommendations and continuing work will be made available after the workshop.
