The second Face-to-Face meeting of the ITS Working Group has been scheduled for September 19-21, 2005, in Sophia-Antipolis, France.

Directions

Directions to Sophia

Coming from Nice, Nice-Côte d'azur airport, or Italy (in blue on the map)

Exit highway A8.
At the first roundabout, take the last exit, just next to the A8 entrance (Antibes-Nice direction).
Drive under a bridge. At the roundabout, take the opposite exit. The road goes down then up towards a roundabout.
Turn right (uphill) at this roundabout. The road continues to rise up to another roundabout (Carrefour des Chappes).
At the "Carrefour des Chappes", turn left (around the roundabout - last exit before coming back the way you came).
At the roundabout Saint Philippe, drive straight ahead (second exit).
At the roundabout "rond-point du Golf", drive straight ahead, it is the second exit. INRIA is on the left some 200 yards away.
The entrance to W3C is on the right, 50 yards after INRIA, it is concealed by the bend (avenue Evariste Galois).
W3C is the first building on your right - park near it and ring the bell for W3C/ERCIM accueil 1 or 2.

From Cannes, or Marseilles (in yellow on the map)

Exit highway A8.
At the first roundabout, take the first exit on the right, follow the sigs for Vallauris - Sophia-Antipolis.
Drive straight ahead (you will pass under the highway at some point) and keep going along the Route du Parc which leads to Sophia-Antipolis.
Take the "Lucioles 1" exit on the right, you're now on Rue Albert Einstein.
At the next crossing, turn right, into Rue Ludwig Van Beethoven.
Almost immediately, turn right into Rue Fedor Dostoievski which goes down past the Novotel, turns into Rue Fernand Leger, and which goes back up to a 'yield' road sign).
At the 'yield' sign, take the left fork, and Rue Evariste Galois (the driveway for Emerald square) is almost directly opposite.
W3C is the first building on your right as you enter - park under it and ring the bell for W3C/ERCIM accueil 1 or 2.

Network, Electricity, Money

Wireless (Wifi 802.11b). If you need ethernet, let us know and we'll set up an ethernet switch with some cables. Additional information is available at the ERCIM ITS F2F logistics page.

France uses 240 V, 50 Hz. The power plug has two round pins. Grounded plugs have a hole that accepts a pin sticking out from the wall socket. (See drawing of normal and grounded plugs.)
