Agenda
Preamble
Chair to start the meeting by typing on irc:
trackbot, start meeting
Trackbot should already be on the channel but if for some reason it is not call it with the following command:
/invite trackbot
Zakim won't know what meeting it is. Just ignore it. Pick a scribe from the list or ask Zakim to pick one up with the following command:
Zakim, pick a victim
Unfortunately Zakim has no idea who's scribed before so you may have to ask several times before getting an acceptable answer...
Then type:
scribe: xxx
Also, with WebEx, Zakim doesn't know who is on the call so, as people join they should record their attendance with the command: present+ <nickname>
For additional info, see the Zakim documentation page.

Adopt New W3C License For Specs
Proposal: We adopt the new W3C Software and Document license for all Social Web WG specs ASAP. Tantek Çelik (talk) 17:23, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
See: http://www.w3.org/blog/news/archives/4743
- May require a charter revision, if we agree, we can hopefully get our W3C team contact to help with quickly making this happen.
- Do we need to make any other charter revisions? E.g. drop mention of Open Social since it's vanished, no one from there has ever meaningfully participated in the WG, and no one else has stepped up to advocate any of its tech in any form for any of our deliverables?
- [jasnell]: Not objecting to dropping OpenSocial specifically, but this statement isn't actually true. IBM was a key member of OpenSocial and I'd say we've more than "meaningfully participated" in the WG. And I believe it was Evan who presented the OpenSocial Activity Streams API during one of the calls as input to the Social API discussion. If we drop OpenSocial from the charter, it's because the approach that was taken by OpenSocial was suboptimal at best, underspecified in many aspects and over-engineered in others.
